9:15 AM Shooters' Meeting followed by 6 stages (shoot 3, half-hour lunch, shoot 3)
Stages require a 1911 auto, a Winchester '97/'87, and a lever or pump rifle.

$10.00 for every shooter (member or non-member)

RJSS WILD BUNCH RULES

Staging of Firearms:

Auto-Pistol will be cleared and holstered with the hammer down on an empty chamber and the magazine will be empty (before and after each stage). All magazines will be preloaded at the loading table and must be kept on your body (magazine pouches are not required). The rifle and shotgun will be loaded, hammer down on empty chamber. Rifle and shotgun magazines will be loaded to the number of rounds needed to start the stage. Extra rounds needed will be from the body or as specified in the stage. Before starting the stage, the pistol magazine will be inserted in the mag well at the firing line and either holstered or placed where specified in the stage description. The pistol is charged on the clock at the firing line. Specific instructions on handling, reloading and reholstering will be given at the match by Chief R.O.

Clothing:

SASS clothes OK. to wear for the match.

Holsters:

If holsters are needed, no modern (police or IPSC type) pistol, holsters or magazine holders. A WWI – Era military khaki web belt with web ammo pouch and tan/brown pre-1919 military flat holster is encouraged, but for this match old west style rigs or any pre-WWII style military holsters, standard/cross draw holster (M1916) is O.K. Holsters may be tied down. Please remember the 170° rule, when positioning, wearing and drawing from your holster, if required. Open-top or flap style ammo pouches in brown-tan or black are perfectly acceptable.

97’s (including 97 trench gun) and Winchester 12 gauge. (No Remington 870’s or Mossbergs or other modern pumps.) Marlin 1898 (at your own risk). 97’s can be loaded with five in magazine tube at loading table (lead shot only #6 shot or smaller, low brass preferred).
